THE New Providence Oldtimers Softball Association continued its 2014 regular season over the weekend at the Archdeacon William Thompson Softball Park at the Southern Recreation Grounds with six games played.
Crusaders 10, Giants 3: Craig Bowe got the win on the mound over Tim Sawyer. Keith Butler had three hits with two RBI and two runs scored in the win.
Yelroms Home Boys 13, Doc’s Stallions 7: Sidney Thomas was the winningp itcher and Warrem Butler was tagged eith the loss. Kevin Neely had three hits with three RBI and three runs scored for the winners.
Proper Care 14, BTC Vibes 13: Frank Rolle was the winning pitcher and Clement Rolle was tagged with the loss. Clayton Bowles had three hits with a home run, driving in four runs and scoring twice for the winners.
Cabinet World 15, Hardy XO 8: Val Munroe was the winning pitcher and Hector Rolle suffered the loss. Warfield Bain had three hits with two homers, driving in four runs and scoring twice for the winners.
Corner Boys def.Q-Club SDivers: Lester Stuart was the winning pitcher and Harold Fritzgerald was the loser. Culbert ‘Buster’ Evans had four hits including a homer, driving in two runs and scoring four times for the winners.
Yelroms Home Boys 13, Da Boyz 8: Sidney Thomas was the winning pitcher and Vernon Clarke was the losing pitcher. Steven Morey had four hits with four RBI and tworuns scored.
The league is expected to continue this weekend with another seires of games on tap on Saturday and Sunday.
