A WOMAN was reportedly robbed of her car by two gunmen who approached her outside her home on Sunday night.

Police reported that the woman said she had arrived at her Twynam Avenue home around 9pm Sunday when two men armed with a handgun robbed her of her silver 2005 Silver Dodge Nitro vehicle and sped off.

Investigations are continuing.

• TWO men were shot in two separate incidents on Sunday, police said.

The first incident occurred shortly after 9pm. Police were told that a man was standing in front of his home on Balls Alley off Shirley Street, when a man armed with a handgun in a heavily tinted jeep, pulled up and fired several shots at him, hitting him in both of his legs. The assailant then sped off.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he is detained in stable condition.

The second shooting happened about two hours later, shortly after 11pm. Police said a man was standing in front of a residence located at Melvern Road in Yellow Elder Gardens, when a man armed with a handgun shot him in his leg before fleeing on foot.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he is detained in stable condition.

Investigations are continuing in both of these incidents.
