THE New Providence Oldtimers Softball Association continued

its regular season action over the weekend with a series of games in the Archdeacon William Thompson Softball Park at the Southern Recreation Grounds.

The results are as follows:

Da Boyz 11, Giants 0

Johnny Burrows, in three-at-bats, had two hits with a RBI, scoring twice in the win. Dominic Elliot was the winning pitcher and Johnny Armbrister was tagged with the loss.

Hardy Boys 17,

Doc Stallions 12

Tommy Stubbs had five hits with a RBI, driving in five runs in his five at-bats for the winners. Ivan Hanna was the winning pitcher and Warren Butler was the loser.

Proper Care 11,

Corner Boys 3

Randolph Coakley had three hits and three runs for the winners. Nelson Farrington was the winning pitcher and Harold ‘Banker’ Fritzgerald was the loser.

Sigma Crusaders 29,

Truckers 0

Mario Ford had four hits with a RBI and four runs in four at-bats for the Crusaders. Anthony Rolle was the winning pitcher and Kermit Mackey was tagged with the loss.

Q-Club Divers 12,

BTC Vibes 1

Lester Stuart had three hits with a home run, driving in three runs and scoring twice for the winners. Emile Ledee was the winning pitcher and Clement Rolle was the loser.

Cabinet World 12,

Doc Stallions 5

Steven Robinson had two hits with two RBI, scoring three runs for the winners. Val Munroe was the winning pitcher and Ian Graham suffered the loss.

Da Boyz 14, Crusaders 13

Marcellus Hall had two hits with two homers on two hits with three RBI and two runs in four at-bats to pace the winners. Alvin Lightbourne was the winning pitcher and Shawn Higgs was the loser.

The league is scheduled to be back in action on Saturday and Sunday.
