ABACO police have arrested a 26-year-old male resident of Dundas Town after he was allegedly found in possession of illegal drugs and a firearm.
According to reports, officers arrested a man on Oleander Street around 5pm on Monday when they discovered a quantity of what was believed to be marijuana, and cash believed to be the proceeds from the sale of drugs.
While at the man’s residence, the officer said, the police also discovered a .380 silver and black 9mm pistol with a clip, and a small amount of what was suspected to be cocaine. The drugs were hidden in the boxing of the roof.
The man was taken into police custody and is expected to be arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court this week.
