THE Bahamas Flag Football League is two weeks away from their playoffs and teams are scrambling to secure a good playoff spot. On Sunday past, the featured game in the men’s division was between the Finlandia Predators and A Sure Win Team Elite as the winner of this game would move into 2nd place overall.

At the end of regulation, the game would be tied and have to go into overtime. The Finlandia Predators would make an exceptional catch to win the game by 1 with the final score being 29-28.
In the female division, the Lady Lions would deliver the upset to the Bommer G Bobcats to win 13-12. This was a significant win for the RBC Lions who would now secure a playoff position and move into a two way tie for 2nd place in their division. The BWF Pink Foxes would have another blowout this week defeating the Sports Center Femme Fatale Predators 35-0.

The BFFL will continue its regular season on Sunday at the Winton Rugby pitch. The complete results from last weekend and the schedule for this weekend is below.

Men’s Division - Rams def. Hurricanes 13-0; Spartans def. EWolf Pack 33-12; Predators nipped Team Elite 29-28 and Avengers def. Hitmen 26-20.
Women’s Division - Pink Foxes def. Femme Fatale 35-0; Lady Lions def. Bobcats 13-0; Lady Ravens def. Lady Avengers 14-0; Lynx def. Dashers 12-0.

Men’s Division - 1:30 pm Avengers vs Wolfpack; 2:45 pm Hurricanes vs Team Elite; 5:15 pm Ravens vs Hitmen.
 
Women’s Division - 1:45 pm Spartans vs Lynx; 4:15 pm Pink Foxes vs Dashers.
