FNM CHAIRMAN Darron Cash thanked PLP Chairman Bradley Roberts for reminding the public that newly appointed Senator Michael Pintard is a fearless fighter who is “unafraid of a challenge” and will take down the giants of the PLP.
Mr Cash was responding to Mr Roberts, who on Monday called Mr Pintard a “two time loser.”
In a statement, Mr Cash said Mr Roberts should focus more on his party’s appointments and less on the matter of the FNM.
“Mr Roberts pays Michael Pintard a compliment by reminding the Bahamian people that Michael is a fearless fighter who is unafraid of a challenge. Michael took on then Leader of the Opposition Perry Christie and had him on the run in Centreville.
“He then took on PLP Deputy Leader Philip ‘Brave’ Davis and had him beaten in the general election until an influx of ‘web shop cash’ saved him in the last days before the election.
“Michael’s appointment demonstrates that after taking on the top leaders in the PLP he is ‘still standing’ strong; they all have good reason to be afraid of him,” he said.
“When Michael Pintard re-enters the Senate he will face off against a mixed bag of political opponents: at least two persons who lost badly in more than one general election, a long list of persons who (unlike him who ran a tight race) were slaughtered in their first election bids and a few Senators who could not even make the cut to get a nomination from their party.”
Mr Cash also congratulated FNM leader Dr Hubert Minnis for believing in a new generation of leaders – something he said the PLP has never done.
He said: “We congratulate Michael Pintard on the news that he has been selected to serve his country and the FNM as a member of the Upper House of Parliament.
“We also congratulate Dr Hubert Minnis for living up to his commitment to making way for dynamic Bahamians who are passionate about serving their country and not their own narrow personal needs.
“Michael has a long track record of community service – dating back to his years as a student activist at The College of The Bahamas. We are confident that he will be a strong advocate for good governance and accountability. In that regard, we are greatly encouraged by his stated commitment to fighting for what is in the best interest of Bahamians.
“Let the record reflect that the PLP has zero credibility when it comes to providing a new generation of Bahamians access to opportunities to serve.”

Poor Cash he was suppose to be taking down PLP giants himself. But the only persons he has taken down is himself and his wife. Pintard in spite of all the Government money used to win him a seat was unable to do so. He was also sitting in on a FNM Contract signing just before the election and the Government jobs that were given.. Cash is very loose with the truth
Doctor Minnis is not doing to bad him self. he continues to talk about this deep bench the FNM has ,,But he continues to recycle the same people. Carl Bethel and Now Pintard. Now I am hoping that Dr. Minnis is not having another party at Government house that he refuses to pay for.,

Comrades not for me be vouching if it be true or not but word on the streets has it that Comrade Chairman "Cry Baby" Daron, at the sparsely attended red shirts weekend Fair had a special red tent erected where he was conducing seminars for other reds eager to master his cry baby techniques. Special focus on something do with a laptop being snatched and number two was, unsatisfied with Minnis's leadership. Tell you what Daron how about you spend some time updating your own party's vintage so out-of-date, official website...that would be really using your time productively as Chairman. You do know it's gone really stale, right? But then again, you reds say you're modern, progressive party who are the government in waiting....really?

Darron Cash has no more credibility. He needs to resign.
