WITH more than 4,000 Bahamians set to be hired by the time Baha Mar opens in December, the $3.5 billion resort’s recruitment and outreach team is ramping up its search throughout The Bahamas for the best and brightest to join the growing Baha Mar team.
Next stop for the Baha Mar Academy will be Bimini today and tomorrow with presentations and interviews in the search for talented individuals who are committed to becoming a part of Baha Mar.
Representatives from the Grand Hyatt, Rosewood and Baha Mar Casino and Hotel will discuss specific career opportunities available and qualifications necessary while potential candidates will discover more about the Baha Mar standard of service and expectations from potential future team members.
Baha Mar’s Chief Operating Officer, Paul Pusateri, said: “We are revolutionising service in the country, creating a best-in-class service culture you can only find here at Baha Mar. Our outreach to Bahamians throughout The Bahamas is another part of Baha Mar’s ongoing recruitment and training efforts to engage people with an aptitude for service, a commitment to hospitality and the passion to help build a world-class destination.”
To schedule an interview with the Academy on Bimini, send an e-mail to academy@bahamar.com with the subject line “Dream Team Search Bimini 2014.”
Family Island outreach began earlier this year with a whirlwind tour of Abaco and Grand Bahama, where the recruitment team met many talented, passionate Bahamians, some of whom are set to become immediate additions to the Baha Mar team.
Recruitment drives will continue throughout the Family Islands this summer, with outreach trips planned for Exuma, Eleuthera and Long Island.
