Should a Minister of the Cabinet be promoting sales of merchandise from his family business?
Constantly you see advertising from a particular well-known store in Palmdale which this leading family owns and their son, a Minister, promotes it.
Father’s Day promotion - buy a mug for $5.00 with the Bahamian flag.
This same business won the 40th anniversary to supply the flags and that’s why we have the wrong colour flag flying everywhere seemingly the Chinese don’t know what turquoise blue is.
Is this wrong?

Moss Mugs and flags are small things. One may buy them if one wishes to do so. A Family business?? Did you have this problem with HOT MIX and the Road works which cost millions of tax payers money.. while Mr. Symonette was the DPM.?

The road works were a necessity and long overdue but we know the PLP is not known for hard work, always taking the easy route. Too, the govt. did not have a choice but to borrow the money externally and had to go with whom the lender chose to do the works so stop talking crap. Other Bahamian contracters were sub-contracted with Hot Mix being one of them!! Mr. Symonette's hand was never in the cookie jar and you can't say the same with this crew who in office now!!

This cookie jar story is pure nonsense. and The man whom you choose to defend is a Saint? I trust you are not one who believes that persons from over the hill are all thieves. And if you know what the people in charge have stolen from your so called cookie jar. Your duty is to call the Police and bring them to Justice.
