A CORONER’S inquest into the death of 25-year-old Delano Dorval, whose lifeless body was discovered on the grounds of the Casa Bahama Building Complex in March, has found that the deceased died of blunt force trauma injuries as a result of falling from the 17-storey building.
Dorval was discovered dead on the lawn area at Casa Bahama on March 3. He had sustained severe injuries to his body. The family had claimed that Dorval was the victim of mistaken identity and police brutality.
The inquest was convened before Coroner Helen Jones. Crown Counsel Eric Kemp appeared on behalf of the Crown and lawyer Paul Wallace–Whitfield represented the family.
