POLICE have arrested a 25-year-old man who was wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet following a shooting incident at a business establishment over the weekend.
According to reports, the incident happened on Saturday shortly after 5pm when a 23-year-old man was repairing a car at Montgomery Avenue, off Carmichael Road.
The man, authorities said, became involved in an argument with the suspect, who was also one of his customers. A short time later, the suspect who is a resident of Pride Estates, returned with a shotgun, fired two shots at the victim and then escaped in a black Honda vehicle.
Police said the victim received two gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition. The suspect was arrested a short time later at Goodman’s Bay.
