Dream turns to gold for Baha Mar

A PANEL of the most accomplished travel professionals in the industry recognised the locally produced Baha Mar Dream Team campaign as the gold winner of Travel Weekly magazine’s golden Magellan Award, beating international competition in the Hotels and Resorts segment.

“Magellan Award winners are not just the most talented and creative people in the travel industry – they are among the most creative and talented of any industry,” said Arnie Weissmann, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly.

“Baha Mar has done what no one has ever done before,” said the Minister of Tourism, Obie Wilchcombe.

“This campaign shows the world that we are passionate about sharing our culture and that we are capable of being the best in the hospitality industry.”
