POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a theft at Cable Bahamas’ Marathon Mall location.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Anthony Ferguson the culprit or culprits broke into the store between Friday night and Saturday morning.

“They stole a small amount of cash and some other items. We are not able to say at this time how they got into the building or provide any other additional information as the investigation is still in its early stages.

“However, we can confirm that some items were stolen,” ACP Ferguson said.

The Tribune attempted to contact Cable Bahamas executives, but calls were not returned up to press time.

Investigations are continuing.
