FREEPORT – Grand Bahama Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery of a business establishment in the Freeport area.
Around 10pm on Tuesday, a masked armed man entered a business on Coral Road, pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded cash. When the clerk refused, the culprit went to the back of the store where he was confronted by the owner. The culprit fled in an unknown direction.
Inspector Terecita Pinder said the suspect has a Bahamian accent and is about 5‘10“ of brown complexion. He was wearing a black and white shirt and dark cargo pants, with a scarf around his face.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information that can assist them with their investigation to call 350-3107/8, 911/919 or the nearest police station.
