A SPECIAL conference which promises to deliver a “spiritual warfare breakthrough” is scheduled for June 1-6 at the Hillside Restoration Centre.

The upcoming conference, coordinated by Stacy-Ann Schooler Ministries International, will focus on the ability of prayer to change and impact the lives of believers.

The purpose of the event is to raise up agents of change through prayer and work that will ultimately usher in a breakthrough in the lives of those in attendance.

“This Prayer and Spiritual Warfare Breakthrough Conference is to impact the Bahamas and the nations of the world through the Kingdom of God,” Kingdom Ambassador Stacy-Ann said.

“In order to accomplish this breakthrough, we will be speaking to the pillars of society, which include business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family and religion. These mountains of the ‘marketplace’ are the pillars of the society, where the battlefield is and where our Bahamian culture would be won or lost.”

The conference is also designed to help a new generation to understand the importance of prayer. In order to effectively use this weapon of prayer (which is not a religious act) in the ‘marketplace’, a paradigm shift must take place on a national level through a network of like-minded men and women with a common vision, said Stacy-Ann Schooler Ministries International in a press statement.

The conference aims to equip people with a greater knowledge of prayer, teach them how to get manifestation from praying and instruct them about spiritual warfare strategies.

As a result of the conference, organisers believe “generational curses will be broken, demonic cycles and bad patterns will be broken, and believers will be equipped in conquering demonic interferences through prayer and spiritual warfare to impact a nation”.

“Prayer will break the yokes and move the mountains of crime and violence, confusion, poverty, bondage, mad spirits that roam the streets to and fro in the nation, and the spirit of murder, oppression and depression will be moved because prayer moves things. Therefore, prayer, work and spiritual warfare bring manifestation and deliverance to a nation,” organisers said.

“David, the politician, but yet a chief worshipper, was possessed with worship –no one worshipped more than David. This politician wrote praise songs presented in worship. He wrote the content and material of the Book of Psalms. We are going to ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name in this nation and it is our recommendation that this nation holds a holiday of prayer, fasting, worship and praise due to the name of the Lord.

Kingdom Ambassador Stacy-Ann declared that only “the righteous will be in authority in the Bahamas and the wicked will not rule.”

The Prayer and Spiritual Warfare Breakthrough Conference will begin at 7.30pm on June 1.

Host pastors at the conference will be Glen and Yvette Rolle, while guest speakers include Dr Carol Sherman from Chicago, Illinois; Apostle Thomas Maxwell from Jacksonville, Florida; Prophetess Dr Olivia Wheaton from Illinois; Prophetess Monette Bain; Apostle Victoria Russell and Pastor Maydon Poitier.
