US man killed in boating accident identified

FREEPORT - An American man, who was killed in a boating accident in Bimini on Sunday, has been identified as 26-year-old Poloma De Mazieres of Florida. Investigations are continuing into the accident.

In other news, 20-year-old Ashton Tueshea Alcegaire, of No 4 Dog Fish Street, Caravel Beach Subdivision, and also of Moore’s Island, Abaco, is wanted by police in Grand Bahama.

Alcegaire is 5’8” tall, 145 pounds, of medium build with a brown complexion and low haircut. Police want to question him in connection with an investigation into an armed robbery and grievous harm incident.

He is considered armed and extremely dangerous and should be approached with caution.
