Two Brazilian men arrested in connection with credit card fraud

POLICE arrested two Brazilian men on Paradise Island Sunday afternoon in connection with credit card fraud.

Shortly after 5pm, police, acting on intelligence, went to a resort at Paradise Island, where they arrested the two suspects after they found them in possession of multiple fraudulent credit cards.

Detectives from the Business and Technology Unit at the Central Detective Unit are questioning the two men, ages 30 and 44, in connection with this incident.

Investigations continue.

Police also arrested two men, ages 20 and 22, after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle late Sunday night.

According to reports, shortly before midnight, officers from the Mobile Division were on patrol on Russell Road off Thompson Boulevard when they saw two men

acting suspiciously in a green coloured Honda.

The officers stopped the vehicle and during a routine search discovered the car had been reported stolen.

The two suspects were taken into custody for further investigations.

During an overnight operation police also arrested a 27-year-old man of Yellow Elder Gardens accused of murder and a 24-year-old man of Culmer Alley on an armed robbery charge.

Additionally, 30 drivers were cited for various traffic violations.
