A WOMAN driver died and her passenger is in hospital in critical condition following a traffic accident in west Grand Bahama last night.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene of a collision on Queen’s Highway in the Pirates Cove area involving a 2002 Buick Century and a silver Jaguar, which resulted in both vehicles being extensively damaged. The driver of the Jaguar, who sources have identified as Lisa Gibson (inset), succumbed to her injuries at the scene while her female passenger was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital by EMS personnel where she is in the Intensive Care Unit with a broken neck.
