A MAN is facing up to life imprisonment if convicted of three attempted murder charges for which he was arraigned in Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Rashad Clarke, 22, of Montgomery Avenue, appeared before Magistrate Constance Delancy accused of being the culprit behind two separate shooting incidents that occurred early last week.
It is alleged that he tried to kill Omanico Lowe and Mildred Lowe on November 10 and that he tried to murder Jefferson Louis the following day. Clarke was not required to enter a plea due to the nature of the offences.
He was told that his case would be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court for trial through a Voluntary Bill of Indictment, scheduled to be presented on December 22 at his next Magistrate’s Court appearance.
Clarke was remanded to the Department of Correctional Services (prison) until that time.
