THE bodies of the young family of three that was killed in the tragic plane crash in Grand Bahama ten days ago arrived in New Providence yesterday.
Newly-ordained youth pastors Lavard “Manifest” Parks, his wife Radel and their five-year-old son Johanan were flown into the capital on a chartered Flamingo Air flight just before noon.
Six others died on the ill-fated flight, including Bahamas Faith Ministries International senior pastor Dr Myles Munroe and his wife Ruth.
Relatives of the Parks confirmed that a funeral service is expected next Friday at BFM on Carmichael Road.
This comes after the bodies of Dr Munroe, his wife Ruth, BFMI vice president Dr Richard Pinder, pilot Captain Stanley Thurston and co-pilot Frahkan Cooper arrived in New Providence on Monday.
Ahead of a planned funeral and memorial in New Providence, Dr Munroe was remembered in a special service at a South African church yesterday.
Dr Munroe, an internationally acclaimed author, motivational speaker and minister, often travelled to Africa as part of his ministry.
A service of prayer and song will be held in Mr Parks’ honour this evening at St Michaels Methodist Church at 6.30pm.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
