LENO Corporate has become the latest Bahamian financial services provider to launch a real estate affiliate.

Leno Realty has been operational since October 1, headed by general manager and lead broker, Hartman Longley II.

“The reputation of a real estate agent has been stained over the years.

“I heard things about us being greedy vultures and some real nasty terms being used, and my intent now and going forward is to educate the public to make them aware that there are real estate agents and brokers that are here for their benefit.” said Mr Longley

Leno Realty will offer rental and sales services, residential and commercial properties, property management services, concierge services for international-based clients and business brokering for small and medium-sized businesses.

The company is also looking at offering appraisal services by the 2015 third quarter.

Mr Longley is also a licensed insurance salesman.

“We would like to get into other aspects of real estate and work with developers, and also do some development of our own. We would like to build individual entities, each of those branching off of Leno Realty.” said Mr Longley.

“We have a mix of established agents, and we brought on some apprentices; persons that we can train.

“The reason we went for the training is so that we would be able to mold them and add fresh new minds to the market.”
