BAHAMIAN boutique store, Cheek.y Intimate Apparel, has been featured for the first time in a popular, international designer magazine, The Best of Intima.

Published in France and available throughout North America, South America and Europe, The Best of Intima showcases the best in ladies’ intimate apparel throughout the industry.

Public Relations Consultant for Cheek.y, Nikki Burrows, says: “We are so proud of what we have been able to accomplish in less than two years of operation. Cheek.y is truly a unique shopping experience in Nassau, and being featured in an international publication like The Best of Intima reaffirms what we’ve sought to create; a boutique, upmarket experience for our patrons, offering intimates from an array of their favourite international designers, hand-selecting our garments for both quality and style and presenting them with superior customer service, in a comfortable environment and at prices quite comparable to those of US retailers.”

Cheek.y is the only retailer in Nassau to offer intimates from designers Calvin Klein, Chantelle Paris, Eberjey, LOU Paris, Mimi Holliday and Simone Perele amongst other brands, including Commando, Hanky Panky and SPANX.

According to Boutique Manager Venetia Gibson, “shopping for intimates is very personal and people like to take their time. Many of our customers, who have shopped abroad for their intimates in high-end department stores or specialty boutiques, now have the option to shop their favourite intimate brands at home at their leisure, in a familiar environment, with trained staff. The fact that we’re able to be that option makes us very, very happy.”

The Best of Intima is the premium lingerie and beachwear magazine in the United States and Canada, and it is a part of the Network Dessous Group, the first worldwide group of magazines dedicated to intimate apparel, swimwear, legwear and related fabrics, since 1990.

Cheek.y Intimate Apparel opened its doors in October 2012, putting intimate apparel shopping on the map in the Bahamas. Founded by a Bahamian family in an effort to provide Nassauvians with a selection of high-quality, international lingerie brands, this sweet boutique sits happily in one of the oldest streets in the town off Shirley Street underneath the bright red leaves of a large Royal Poinciana tree.
