Robbery investigated

GRAND Bahama Police are investigating a robbery in the Polaris Drive area where a woman was pushed to the ground by a masked man and robbed of an undetermined amount of cash.

Inspector Terecita Pinder reported that around 8am yesterday the victim told police that a man with a white towel around his face pushed her down and snatched her deposit bag, containing cash.

She described the culprit as being about 5ft 11in, of dark complexion, slim build and wearing a white shirt, maroon trousers and black shoes.

Police are also asking the public’s assistance in the search for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Saturday at Independence Park.

The first suspect is described as being 5ft 11in of medium brown complexion. He is slim and weighs about 180lbs and has a tattoo on his neck.

The second suspect is about 5ft 8in of dark brown complexion, slim and weighing 190lbs. Both suspects should be approached with caution.
