FORT Charlotte MP Dr Andre Rollins appeared before a Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) disciplinary committee for the second time last night.
The embattled MP made his first appearance before the committee Monday night, accompanied by lawyer and former PLP Chairman Raynard Rigby.
On Monday, Mr Rigby would not reveal details about the meeting, but did say he was approached by Dr Rollins to provide “some degree of counsel” due to his previous executive position within the PLP.
As reported previously by The Tribune, Dr Rollins faces a two-year suspension from the party.
He can also be refused a nomination in the 2017 general election or be reprimanded by the PLP’s National General Council based on a report from the disciplinary committee.
The group is headed by PLP Stalwart Councillor Valentine Grimes.
The committee was formed recently to determine the political fate of the former Gaming Board chairman after he refused to apologise for several scathing rebukes of the Christie administration and Prime Minister Perry Christie that he made in the House of Assembly.
The committee is expected to make a decision by the end of the month.

You folks commenting on this article should know that the The Tribune website gets less than 100 hits on an average news day, many of which are from the same commentator. This means there are relatively few of you posting and reading each others comments on this website each day. I've therefore stopped commenting for that reason aside from posting the occasional comment to let you "less than 100" folks know why you are wasting your time posting comments to this website!
