AFTER months of hard work and preparation, Ambrosina Forbes was crowned the winner of the Miss Cultural Bahamas Pageant 2014/15.
The pageant, now in its ninth year, aims to foster an appreciation for the Bahamas and all things Bahamian.
It is the brainchild of William Reginald Deveaux, who was inspired to launch the pageant after vacationing in Jamaica in 2006.
He believed launching a pageant of this nature was a great way for Bahamians to showcase their patriotism.
On Sunday night, Ambrosina demonstrated that she was worthy of wearing this truly Bahamian crown.
Family and friends posted numerous well wishes to Ambrosina’s Facebook page.
Over the past few weeks, the contestants had to show their talent, well as participate in costume and evening gown competitions.
