Woman stabbed in head and neck after argument

A WOMAN is in critical condition in hospital after she was stabbed in her neck and head during an argument with another woman in Kemp Road late on Thursday night.

According to reports, around 11:30pm the victim was involved in a dispute with a Strachan’s Alley woman whom she knew. She was taken to hospital where she is listed in serious condition.

Police are asking for the public’s help in solving three armed robberies that occurred on Thursday.

In the first incident, shortly before 10am, a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenience store on Jumbey Street,

Windsor Place, of a cell phone and cash before fleeing on a moped.

About an hour later, two men armed with handguns robbed a business establishment on Faith Avenue North of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the final incident around 4pm, police say a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenience store located at Klonaris Drive, off Soldier Road, of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
