THE Bahamas Bridal Association (BBA) is hosting its annual educational and professional development symposium, BBA Elevate 2014, on Friday at the British Colonial Hilton, Bay Street, Nassau. Sponsored by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, the one-day conference is “designed to inspire, motivate, and enlighten” wedding and event planners, vendors and corporate members, as well as creative professionals in The Bahamas’ wedding and event industry.

BBA Elevate will feature a lineup of educational panels, keynote speakers and breakout sessions moderated by leading local and international industry professionals. The annual professional symposium will look at creative new trends in décor and catering, increasing profit margins for business and venue, etiquette and customer service and government regulations, policies and VAT.

The symposium is open to wedding and event planners, venues, hotels, ministers, officiants, florists, pastry chefs, caterers, transportation companies, salons, hairstylists, makeup artists, nail technicians, spas, photographers, décor rental companies, videographers, stationers, web designers and restaurants as well as wedding and event accessory suppliers.
