NPBA set for thrilling championship series

If the first two games of the series are any indication, we are set for a thrilling New Providence Basketball Association championship series that will come down to the wire.

In game two Wednesday night at the AF Adderley Gymnasium, the Patron Regulators defeated the PJ Stingers, 101-97, to even the series at one game apiece.

Game three is set for Tuesday, April 7 at 8:30pm.

The Stingers took game one 116-114 on Monday night.

In game one, it was the Stingers' Able Joseph who led the charge with a triple double, 35 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

Devon Ferguson added 19 points and 12 rebounds while Bachellete LaFleur added 14.

Kenneth Pratt led the Regulators with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Through the first two games of the championship series, teams have just a three point margin of victory.

The teams split the regular season series matchup at one game apiece.
