Human remains have been found on a beach in Grand Bahama.
Grand Bahama police report that around 1pm on Thursday they received information that human remains had found near the shoreline in the area of Xanadu Beach.
A pathologist from the Rand Memorial Hospital was called to the scene and confirmed the remains were human. Investigation is continuing.

This is one of the reasons why dental records are so important. If this practice were in place in the Bahamas, it would undoubtedly assist police in determining the identification of this individual.

Dental records can only assist if the person has ever been to a dentist before. Anyone missing a family member? Might be an unknown illegal immigrant.

That's why I said that dental records are important. If an individual doesn't have one..... then maybe he/she should reconsider.

I see where you're coming from. It's sad that one should have to make that a consideration in the 'event' of such a thing occurring. : ( I'm hoping it's NOT a homicide; just so fed up with such evil and malicious individuals dwelling amongst us, posing as human-beings!
