EDITOR, The Tribune.
It is not my custom to watch ZNS in the afternoon due to work related commitments. However, shortly after 5pm on March 25th I was able to watch a portion of a programme called “Girlfriends”. This episode caught my attention because it was about one partner in a lesbian relationship getting ready to give birth with exchanges of affection between the “couple”.
Given the reality that many adults are grappling with the intrusion of “alternative” lifestyles attempting to redefine relational norms, how could public programming be allowed to be a conduit for the promulgation of same sex relationships? Who makes the decisions regarding which programmes would be aired at a time when school aged children are at home, some of them unsupervised?
Is this type of programming now the new norm in the audiovisual fare of children?
Same sex relationships have been able to make significant inroads by using various forms of media to present their lifestyle as benign, normal and even desirable. It has had to market itself that way in an attempt to desensitize the masses because of the natural inclination to recoil from intimate same sex contact. Those who oppose same sex relationships are viewed as being small minded, ignorant and bigoted. The impressionable minds of children can be easily influenced to believe these fallacies are true.
Should ZNS be a part of the brainwashing process?
Growing up I used to hear people say, “...if you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything”. It appears we are a nation in free fall. There are unprecedented levels of social and moral chaos in this nation. Shame on you ZNS for contributing to melee.

Here we see the PLP Government wrongly using ZNS (an entity owned by the Bahamian people and annually financially supported by them at great loss) to push the PLP's support of the gay and lesbian agenda on the Bahamian people even though a vast majority of us are against same-sex marriage. Christie, Sean McWeeney, Fred Mitchell, Rubie Nottage and others like them are trying to ram down our throats constitutional amendments that support the gay and lesbian agenda even though we (the Bahamian people) have already made it quite clear that the vast majority in our society are opposed to same-sex marriage. It is the PLP party and not the Bahamian people who should be paying all costs (including opportunity costs) associated with the airing of such programming on ZNS TV in support of the PLP's same-sex marriage agenda against the wishes of the vast majority of Bahamians. The only reason Christie's PLP government have not held the referendum on the proposed constitutional amendments is that they know full well the Bahamian people are wise to their insideously hideous effort to seek the right to same-sex marriage for the gay and lesbian movement under the pretentious guise of seeking equal rights for women. Sean McWeeney and Rubie Nottage are simply not willing to include in the proposed constitutional amendments simple, clear, straight forward, unequivocal wording that would proclaim in our constitution that the sanctity of marriage is limited to the joining in matrimony of a man and a women to the exclusion of any other form of union, companionship, partnership, etc. between men and women. Such an amendment to the proposed constitutional changes can easily be made to accord with the wishes of the vast majority of Bahamians but the likes of Christie, McWeeney, Mitchell, Nottage et al would rather try pull the wool over the eyes of you and me to achieve their own hidden agenda! Sharpen your pencil Sean or have the PLP suffer the wrath of the vast majority of voters in the next general election. We live in a democracy of more discerning voters than you and others like you would like or care to think!

Learn about democracy. It is not just about the majority rule! The majority cannot do whatever they want if it is going to violate an individuals freedom.
"tyranny of the majority" (or "tyranny of the masses"), used in discussing systems of democracy and majority rule, involves the scenario in which decisions made by a majority place its interests above those of an individual or minority group, constituting active oppression comparable to that of tyrants and despots.[1] In many cases a disliked ethnic, religious or racial group is deliberately penalized by the majority element acting through the democratic process.

Paid for by the Bahamian Gay & Lesbian Rights Movement to oppose and destroy the centuries old Biblical and Christian definition of a marriage.

If it is one point that Putin has over Obama,it is this issue. Obama thinks it is okay to indoctrinate young children to think this is okay and normal, while Putin believes otherwise. a few years ago when Obama said that he believed marriage was between a man and a woman, i told a friend that he was lying and that he was waiting for the opportune time to publicly differ . When he did so my friend sent me a text reminding me of my prediction. As "well mudda take sic " mentioned , the PLP wants us to believe gay marriage is okay and trying to ram this down our throats .
