EDITOR, The Tribune.
I would strongly recommend that Algernon Allen, who is supposed to be a lettered man, watching his futile attempt yesterday, in trying to make wrong, right, to read, and digest, this morning’s Guardian Editorial,
Forget about the perks, take off the blinders, and put the suffering Bahamian populace, that you and your sidekick claimed to care so much for, first, and stop the (tommy rot) who hired the Auditor General?

The Guardian Editorial does not mean that much, every one knows what they are all about. The woman writes editorials she knows nothing about. I am convinced her Papa writes them for her.

Even as you have said earlier, Birdestrachan, that they are not dishonest, there is no denying the fact that this shows that they are both incompetent and should never be trusted with other peoples money.

Mudder and Bulgie may not be dishonest but they really sounded stupid and unbecoming for former senior politicians ................ especially acting in this capacity. Sets a bad example for so-called retired "honourable" persons

Parents always told me that if you have a pack of dogs and throw a rock, the ones that make noise are the ones that got hurt. @duppyVAT you are correct. It is saddening to see so called senior politicians rather than being open minded and seeking to correct the situation, try to discredit and shoot the auditor. Anyone with a bit of common sense realise auditors are trained to look for issues. They only paint a picture of what you give to them. However, we have a culture that has arisen with this "new generation of leaders" touted by our Prime Minister, that reports are only correct if it makes the politicians look good. Otherwise, people who are trained in these areas are idiots. How often have they argued agains the Department of Statistics report? What about he NIB audit? Public Hospitals authority? Need I go on. We have created a terrible culture that is not interested as Martin King said "in speaking truth to power."
