A POLICE officer was taken into custody in Grand Bahama after he was accused of sexually assaulting two young girls, The Tribune understands.
The officer, according to a source close to the matter, is expected to be flown to Nassau for questioning.
Police in Grand Bahama would not confirm or deny the arrest, however Inspector Tericita Pinder said “a statement will be released in due time”. A family doctor, according to reports, discovered the alleged assault.
