POLICE are on the hunt for four men who shot three men and abducted a woman in three separate incidents early Wednesday morning.
The first incident took place shortly after 1am on Farrington Road.
Police said a man was walking when he was shot in both legs and in the back during an exchange of gunfire between the occupants of two vehicles.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains in serious, but stable condition.
A few minutes later, police said a man stole a car and abducted a woman off Charles Saunders Highway.
According to reports, after 1am, two men and a woman pulled up to a friend’s home off Charles Saunders Highway, in a silver coloured 2009 Honda, license plate number 255752.
The driver of the vehicle got out of the car and went into the friend’s home leaving the vehicle running, police said.
A man armed with a handgun then approached and ordered the other man out of the vehicle.
The gunman then drove off
in the vehicle with the woman inside.
A short while later, police said, the woman got into a struggle with the gunman and managed to escape.
The gunman then sped off in the vehicle.
The final incident took place shortly after 4am.
Police said a man was sitting in a vehicle with a woman at Coconut Grove Avenue and 7th Street when two masked men armed with handguns approached and shot him before fleeing on foot.
The man was shot in his groin and was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
