POLICE are searching for the suspects responsible for two separate shooting incidents that left two men detained in hospital on Sunday.

In the first incident, shortly after 4.30pm, a man was driving his vehicle on Mahogany Street, Pinewood Gardens, when the occupants of a silver Kia Sportage pulled alongside him and shot him before speeding off.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition, police said.

In the second incident, shortly after 10.30pm, a man was on the porch of his home located at Sunrise Way, Jubilee Gardens, when two men in a green Nissan Bluebird pulled up and shot him before speeding off.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Armed robbery

POLICE are looking for the gunmen who stole a car yesterday morning.

According to reports, a man and a woman were sitting in a 2007 silver CRV vehicle in front of a home when two men armed with handguns approached and robbed them of their vehicle before speeding off.

The incident happened shortly after 12.30am on Monday.

Investigations are continuing.
