HUNDREDS of excited children and their parents descended on the Queen Elizabeth Sports Centre on Thursday afternoon for the annual Island Luck Children’s Christmas Party.
Hosted by the Island Luck Cares Foundation, the families took advantage of the free carnival rides, Santa Claus, food and popcorn at the four-hour event, which was put on to bring Christmas cheer to those less fortunate who need it in straightened times.
Island Luck CEO and founder of the foundation, Sebas Bastian, joined in the fun on the rides and greeted children.
Through the foundation Island Luck aims to improve the quality of Bahamian lives by helping to empower those with the greatest needs through outreach and effective assistance in the areas of poverty, health, education and business management, ownership and entrepreneurship.
