TWO men are in police custody after they were found in possession of 100 pounds of marijuana early on Friday morning.
According to reports, shortly after 9am officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) went to a home on Coopers Terrace where they found the suspected drugs.
Two male residents were taken into police custody.
Police also arrested 35 persons on Thursday night during a special operation. According to reports, officers from the DEU, Central Detective Unit and several other uniformed divisions spread throughout New Providence.
The arrests were in connection with a number of serious offences including murder, drugs and firearm possession. A firearm, two stolen vehicles and a small amount of drugs were also recovered during the operation.
