Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise. - Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise held its annual Jingle Bell Jazz event on Dec 4, 2015, that drew the attention of many patrons and jazz connoisseurs.
The highlight of the evening was The College of the Bahamas Concert Band and Ambassah featuring Chris Justilien.
Patrons enjoyed an assortment of Jazz, Pop, Bahamian, and familiar Christmas music that was played throughout the night.
If you missed it this year, you don’t want to miss it next year. Also to the patrons pleasure was a silent auction event where many local artists’ work was prominently displayed and up for sales bidding.
Part proceeds from the event were donated to the Rotary Clubs of the Bahamas, Cancer Society, REACH Autism Awareness Hurricane Joaquin Relief fund and The College of the Bahamas Music Department.
Rotarians are always excited to give back to the communities in which we live, whilst rendering service above self.
Cheque presentations were made and given to the representatives of each of the organisations on Thursday, December 17, by President Alanna McCartney, Membership Director Dr Sophia Rolle and Fundraising Chair Frances Dean.
The Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors and donors for making this event the success that it was for us once again this year! We could not have done it without you.
