The HO Nash Lions added the Government Secondary Schools Sports Association junior boys basketball title to the junior girls’ crown they captured at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium on Monday night.

Last night, the Lions knocked off the DW Davis Pitbulls 58-55 to win the best-of-three series 2-1. The Pitbulls won the first game on Friday but the Lions roared back to tie the series on Monday night.

Also last night, the CI Gibson Rattlers won another senior boys title with a 67-66 decision over the Dame Doris Johnson Mystic Marlins. The Rattlers won the opener on Friday, but the Marlins evened the series on Monday night.

While the Lions soared to the junior girls’ title with a two-game sweep over the CH Reeves Raptors, the CR Walker Knights secured the senior girls’ crown.
