POLICE are questioning several persons in connection with the murders committed over the weekend.
Police reported that Lathario Sergio Missick, who they wanted to speak with in connection with a shooting that left a man dead on Saturday, turned himself into the Central Detective Unit early Sunday morning.
Police believe he can help with their investigation.
Jamal Gibson, also known as “Eggie”, is also helping police with several murder investigations.
Shortly after 5am yesterday, a special operations police team, acting on intelligence, executed a search warrant at a home at Broadfield Road in eastern New Providence.
Police said they found Gibson under a bed.
Two men and two women who were in the home at the time were also taken into custody.
Police also said they have a man in custody in connection with the shooting death of a man that occurred in Union Village on Sunday.
According to reports, shortly before 2pm, a man was driving his Honda Accord in Union Village when three men in a Honda CRV vehicle fired several shots at him and sped off. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police acting on intelligence later arrested the suspect in connection with this incident. Two other suspects are still being sought.
Meanwhile, a 28–year-old man is in custody in connection with a shooting at a Madeira Street nightclub that left one man dead and another in hospital on Sunday.

Investigations are continuing.
Police also said they have a 27-year-old man in custody, who was arrested on Saturday in connection with the murder of Dior Johnson that occurred February 23, 2014 at East Street.
Yesterday, Central Detective Unit officers arrested an adult male of Matthew Street in connection with the murder of Randy McNeil that occurred on December 30, 2014 at Matthew Street in Nassau Village.
Police also arrested a 21–year-old male yesterday who was wanted for questioning in the attempted murder of Crimston Rolle that occurred on Saturday. The suspect surrendered himself to the CDU.
