NPBA SCHEDULE
AFTER taking a break for the Christmas holiday, the New Providence Basketball Association is scheduled to resume its regular season at the AF Adderley Gymnasium this week.
The schedule for the week is as follows:

NPWBA EXHIBITION
THE New Providence Women’s Basketball Association is set to hold a pre-season tournament starting on January 6 followed by the opening of the regular season on January 17 at the DW Davis Gymnasium on Wilton Street.
The tournament will be divided into two divisions (primary and senior) for the title in four days of fun and action. The primary division is expected to compete all day on Saturday, January 10, commencing at 10am. NPWBA president Mynez Cargill-Sherman said the primary schools will be invited in an effort to encourage the realisation of a girls’ mini-league in the not too distant future.
RUNNING
BSC ROAD RACE
THE Baptist Sports Council has announced that its 2015 Family Fun Run/Walk Race is set for Saturday, January 31, starting and finishing at the William Thompson Auditorium, Jean Street.
The runners will leave Jean Street and travel south to Prince Charles Drive, east to Fox Hill Road, north to Bernard Road, west to Hillside Road and south to the finish line.
The walkers will leave Jean Street and travel north to Bernard Road, west to Soldier Road, south to Prince Charles, east to Jean Street and north back to the finish line.
The categories include 15-and-under, 20-and-under, 30-and-under, 40-and-under, 50-and-under and over-50. There will also be a pastors and ministers category. The entry fee is $10 per person.
Trophies will be presented to the top three finishers in each category and t-shirts will also be distributed.

BSC BASKETBALL
THE Baptist Sports Council is slated to hold a meeting 10am January 17 at the Jordan Prince Williams High School for all churches interested in participating in the 2015 Basketball Classic.
The event, which is scheduled to start in February, will include the men, 19-and-under, 15-and-under and ladies’ division. The entry fee is $200 per team in each division.
All teams interested in participating are urged to have two representatives present at the meeting 10am Saturday, January 17 at Jordan Prince Williams.
