POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male inmate at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services, who died in hospital on Friday.
Police did not provide additional details on the inmate’s death or his identity.
However officials did say that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Officials did not say why the inmate was taken to hospital.
