POLICE in Abaco are investigating the death of a man found floating in waters on Scotland Cay on Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly before 5pm, the body of an unknown Caucasian male was found by a resident of the cay. His body was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor. Neither the identity of the deceased nor the circumstances surrounding his death are known.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding a missing relative or any information as to the identity of the deceased, to contact the Marsh Harbour Police Station at telephone number 367-2560 or 367-3437, or the Central Detective Unit in Grand Bahama at 350-3107 to 3112, or 911/919 or your nearest police station.
