FOR some women it is not enough to excel in their careers, family life, relationships and civic duties. They are not satisfied until they determine their precise purpose in life.

These women believe that when they discover what it is they were born to accomplish – whether that be empowering other women, championing a specific cause or touching lives with their gifts – then true fulfilment will come.

A unique women’s conference hosted by seeks to help women discover their purpose and equip them with the tools necessary to fulfil it. The conference runs from June 24 - June 26 at the church beginning at 7pm nightly.

“Preparing the Bride – Women Adorned for Purpose 2015” is the theme of the spiritual based conference aimed at bringing women together from all sectors of society to seek God for guidance in every aspect of their lives.

“It is designed for Kingdom women that have a mandate to make an impact in their environment,” a representative of the ministry told Tribune Woman.

“There are many women and women networks out there designed to empower women and girls of all ages, race and professions. However, we seldom get together to pray and network to really support each other. There are also many women that are Christian women but have absolutely no balance – either the home is falling apart, or they are not successful in the corporate environment, or they have unproductive relationships, and the list goes on. There is no balance and we don’t network often enough as young and not so young women to be mentored, coached or just encouraged by another female. There has to be balance in the life of women as we strive to be Kingdom women.”

Speakers for the event include “Da Fire Starter” Felicia Archer of Daughters of Purpose, Lavette McFall of Bethel Baptist Church and Pastor Clarice Thompson of Global Outreach Ministries in James Cistern, Eleuthera.

The conference’s opening night will target young ladies under the age of 25. They will be addressed by the Felicia Archer.

On Thursday and Friday night, Lavette McFall and Pastor Clarice Thompson will be the main speakers.

“This conference will be like no other conference,” a representative of New Life Restoration said.

“It is an empowerment conference and we will hear from God for new strategies and opportunities to network and birth out our purpose for this time. Women will leave with a road map of how to be balanced and represent the Kingdom of God in the earth, whether they are young or old, single or married, unemployed or employed.”

Other women expected to participate in the conference include Natasha Pyfrom from Ruach Women’s Ministries, Patricia Pratt from the Prayer and Inspiration Network, Sherika Brown from the Iron Network and Uptown Cosmetics, and Tanya Duncombe of the Hadassah Girls Club.

“It is a network of professional, saved Kingdom women,” the church said. “Our society will be different because after this conference women will be walking in their Kingdom assignment. We will be balanced Kingdom women, adorned for purpose and handling our homes, climbing the corporate ladder, leading in ministry, leading in politics, leading in the medical, legal and financial fields. We will make our mark in society in prove that we are not only women, we are Kingdom women. We will network to reach out to at-risk girls and women and offer mentorship, financial support and spiritual support to our sisters.”
