The Bahamas Flag Football League began its preseason play with two weeks of exciting games.
In week one, newcomers to the league Falcons made their debut, falling to the veteran team of the RBC Lions 12-6. In the women’s division, last year’s runners-up Lady Spartans would suffer a loss to the Lady Ravens 12-6.
Week two of the preseason in the Bahamas Flag Football League was even more exciting than week one. The defending champions Finlandia Predators fell to the former champions, Summit Academy Ravens 14-7.
In another close match, last year’s female champions Pink Foxes had their hands full with the Bommer G Bobcats. The BWF Pink Foxes would edge the Bobcats out by one score with just 12 seconds left in the game to secure the win 20-13.
All games are played at the Winton Rugby Field with the official season opening on Sunday, March 22.
