WHETHER you know it or even agree with it, you are living according to your mental programme. We all are. The question is, are you programmed to win or lose at life?
Mental programming is nothing new. Initially, parents, teachers or others guide each of us in society.
If those who lead us and shape our mental programming are themselves operating with a winner’s mindset, then it is likely that they will give us a winner’s mind. However, if they themselves are residents of ‘Loserville’, they will most certainly impart a loser’s mind.
People can only take you where they have already been. For this reason it is critical that you evaluate the quality of your mental programme. Are you living a loser or winner kind of life?
Like it or not, your winner or loser life is the result of your own mindset.
Can you imagine a self-identified ‘winner’ walking around with a loser mindset or vice versa? It is near impossible.
If you think like a winner, your life will reflect winner’s image. Whatever is rooted in your mind, shapes your perception, directs your thinking and the choices you make. Winning is not necessarily about buying more stuff, it’s more about understanding your capacity to win and live your life with passion.
Happy societies are the result of happy-minded people. Similarly, a society of aggressive behaviour is the result of an aggressive mindset.
The thing that shapes are mindsets, the long and short of it is that the mind is set based on information. The consistent feeding of negative input produces negative output – garbage in, garbage out.
Perhaps you may not realise it, but the fact is your mind, by its very design, is a container for information. It gathers, stores and uses information you feed it to direct your actions and behaviour. The better quality information, the better quality choices you make.
When it comes to choices, winners’ often look at the consequences in advance of their choice, whereas losers often act first and think later. This habit of reacting without thought comes from the feelings of having lost even before they even begin.
Alas, life is it is flexible. Nobody has to remain in a loser’s state of mind. At any time we can change our minds towards winning at life. The mind has no limits. It can achieve anything you desire. The difficulty for most is they have little respect for their mind; overly exposing it to negative, disempowering information without regard. Yet only what you put in is what comes out.
To live a winner’s life you must have a winner’s mind. No athlete becomes a gold medallist thinking like a loser. To win, they must first develop a winner’s mind. Once, your mind is set to win, your behaviour follows.
Truth is, winning life is your birthright. You only need to believe this truth and break free from any thoughts of living in ‘Loserville’. Set a winner’s expectations. Once you set it, life will shape itself to get it. All and all, we get what we expect.
Leader to leader, you win by winning in your mind first. Reset your mental programme towards winning by feeding your mind quality information.
Make today the day that you commit to living the winner’s life that you love.
