AUTHOR Monique Hinsey held a launch at the National Art Gallery on Sunday for her book, “A Road Trip Guide to College”.

The book is meant to be a resource for Bahamian high school students who may be stressed about college preparation.

According to a press release, the publication serves as a general college admissions guide for parents and students preparing for the transition from high school to college.

The information contained in the book is based on the author’s 20 years of experience as a school counsellor and college-career consultant.

Among other things, the book has tips on becoming a better student, time management and goal setting, finding the best college and searching for scholarships.
