A FOURTH suspect was arraigned in Magistrate’s Court concerning a recent $2m marijuana seizure in South Andros.
Solomon Glinton, 37, appeared before Magistrate Andrew Forbes on Tuesday charged with possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply, importation of dangerous drugs, conspiracy to import dangerous drugs and conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with intent to supply concerning the October 24 incident.
According to police, at about 7am on the day in question, Drug Enforcement Unit officers assisted by the Police Marine Unit found a 30-foot go fast vessel and searched it, resulting in the discovery of more than 2,000 pounds of marijuana.
Glinton pleaded not guilty to the four offences and was remanded into custody.
He returns to Magistrate’s Court on February 16, 2016 to stand trial alongside his alleged accomplices, 40-year-old Carl Spencer and 46-year-olds Christopher Pratt and Dwayne Henderson.
