QC Comets win BAISS swim meet

THE Queen’s College Comets emerged as the winners of the Bahamas Association of Independent Secondary Schools (BAISS) swim meet at St John’s College last week.

Garry Markham commended St John’s College and their staff for accommodating the schools and the teachers of St Andrew’s School and Queen’s College, who assisted.

The Comets accumulated a total of 734 points to secure the win. They were followed by St Andrew’s Hurricanes with 668 points. St Augustine’s College Big Red Machine got third with 394.

Rounding out the field of eight schools in order were St Anne’s Bluewaves with 320 points, St John’s Giants with 285 points, Kingsway Academy Saints with 100 points, Aquinas College Aces with 99 points and Temple Christian Suns were last with 30 points.
