Please permit me to express a few thoughts of national importance. Some political pundits along with some disgruntled FNMs, paid political media and newspaper operatives are “beating the drums“ of a possible return of “Herbertus Maximus”. The former Prime Minister has not indicated officially that he would return to frontline politics, except to give vague generalizations about his retirement from the “game”.

If one were to examine all of the shenanigans taking place inside the FNM party – “Blind Blake” could see that the former Prime Minister is behind the scenes manipulating and influencing certain parliamentarians to undermine Dr. Hubert Minnis and his newly elected executives every step of the way.

One has only to look at certain media personnel, unrelenting assault on the performance of Dr Minnis, every Monday morning. These “Salvo’s” are deliberate and concocted by an expert team of political operatives controlled by “Herbertus Maximus”. Their sole intent is to continue to push the narrative that Dr Minnis cannot win the next election for the FNM as its leader.

Their strategy is to continue to pound the lie into the minds of the voters, until like “Hitler propaganda” most FNMS will believe the lie and then this will pave the way for the former leader to ride into town again with his cronies to ascend the throne of power. (This same script is intended to play out just like the script with Tommy Turnquest). FNMs must not let that happen again, because the former Prime Minister, was the sole reason that we lost the last election, and following the devastating defeat, he abandoned the party and left “the FNM ship sinking on the rocks” with no life support. Thanks to Dr Minnis that the FNM ship has been refloated off the rocks and all loyal supporters are getting battle ready for 2017.

We must not let the two “Ingramites” parliamentarians, disgruntled former FNM media personnel, disgruntled former candidates and certain media personalities, cause us to lose site of the victory at hand with Dr. Minnis, as the new captain.

If “Herbertus Maximus” was serious about the leadership of the FNM leader and his team, he should have already espoused the virtues of an elder statesman and officially endorsed the team. FNMs, we all need to look to the future and rally around Dr Minnis. Ignore the naysayers because all of the recent PLP poling shows the FNM winning the next election by 4 to 1. We ready now.
