In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cable Bahamas has joined the battle through its support and sponsorship of the Warrior Campaign.
The Warrior Campaign, in partnership with the Grand Bahama Cancer Society, was created to raise awareness and educate the community about breast cancer. Both organisations believe that all people living with cancer have the right to access the best treatment and support.
The Warrior Campaign features events that take place throughout the month of October and is implemented through volunteers such as Cable Bahamas and other cancer patient organisations around the world. All proceeds from such events are donated to the Cancer Society.
Every Friday, the entire Cable Bahamas Grand Bahama team, including all cable technicians and installers, will wear the pink ‘Warrior Campaign’ logo T-shirt.
“By wearing the Warrior Campaign T-shirt we at Cable Bahamas are supporting one of our own who is a breast cancer survivor,” said Cable Bahamas Northern Bahamas Operations Manager Edris Wilson-Elliott. “We are also stressing the importance of supporting cancer survivors and honouring those who have lost the fight against breast cancer.”
