Public Services Union President John Pinder called for “a change in our country” as hotel workers protested outside of the Melià on Cable Beach Friday afternoon.
Union members have been unhappy with the hotel’s decision to stop deducting union dues from staff wages and Mr Pinder, while stressing he has no problem with foreign investment, said during their demonstration that “the time is right, time is now to make a change in our country” with regards to the rights of Bahamian workers.

well, though i dislike these union types, they were the first to start the visible protest.
it is easy to protest on facebook and on the tribune, unless you march thr road, no one sees you.

John Pinder is and was always an FNM. He is seeking to gain votes for his party. He should take care of Union business if he can, and leave Persons to vote for which ever party they choose. and while he is at it. he should try to use less of the earth resources, so that others may have some.
